Course Outline

The Florida Bloodborne Pathogen course meets the requirements for Body Art Practitioners as specified by the Florida State Department of Health under Section 381.00775 and Chapter 64E-28 Florida Administrative Code and Federal OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030.

Your Bloodborne Pathogen Certificate is available for download or can be mailed via USPS, complete with an embossed stamp suitable for framing.

The course lessons include the following information: Bloodborne Pathogens, bacteria, viruses, chain of infection, transmission, risks, OSHA requirements, hygiene, body art equipment, sterilization, storage, allergic reactions, hazards, and other pertinent information required by Federal OSHA and the Florida State Health Department.

Cathy Montie is an OSHA-Authorized General Industry Specific Outreach Trainer and approved by the Florida Department of Health, Division of Environmental Health.
