The Los Angeles County Bloodborne Pathogen Course meets the requirements for Body Art Practitioners as specified under FEDERAL OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1030, Cal/OSHA California Code of Regulations Title 8 Section 5193 and California AB 300 Safe Body Art Act.

Your Bloodborne Pathogen Certificate is available for download or can be mailed via USPS, with an embossed stamp suitable for framing.

The course lesson includes the following information: Bloodborne pathogens, bacteria, viruses, chain of infection, transmission, risks, OSHA requirements, hygiene, body art equipment, sterilization, storage, allergic reactions, hazards, and other relevant information required by OSHA, California State, and the Los Angeles County Environmental Health Department.

Cathy Montie is a Los Angeles Authorized Trainer and an OSHA-Authorized General Industry Specific Outreach Trainer.
